On May 7th, The Control Group team, along with 100’s of other participants, gathered for the two mile San Diego Humane Society Walk for Animals. NTC Park at Liberty Station was transformed into a doggie village where participants were treated to a pre-walk pancake breakfast. The village also featured various vendors and a blessing of the animals before the walk began.
The Walk for Animals is a fundraiser for the San Diego Humane Society. The goal of the walk is to raise much-needed funds for the care and rehabilitation of animals until they are adopted. The walk also raises awareness of the many animals that are awaiting adoption in shelters throughout San Diego.
TCG team members Hanna and Andy brought their pooches Leo and Jackie out to participate in the event. They look pretty happy!
