The Control Group employees added a few healthy recipes to their repertoire when the company hosted a cooking demo on Wednesday.
Our instructors for the day were from Jimbo's Naturally, San Diego's premier natural food grocer. For 25 years, Jimbo’s has proudly supported local organic farms. The relationships with these local organic farms are at the heart of Jimbo’s. Over 95% of Jimbo’s produce is organically grown.
For this cooking demo, our experts showed us step-by-step how to prepare three recipes that make fruits and veggies delicious.
Employees were first shown how to make a batch of Fruit and Nut Protein Bars.
For the main course, our experts taught us how to make Zucchini Noodles with Cherry Tomato Marinara.
For dessert, we were shown how to prepare "5-Minute Chocolate Pudding."
Everything was as good as it looked. After enjoying the end result of the demonstratrion, everyone recieved a copy of the recipe so they can make the same veggie-based snack, meal, and dessert at home.
